Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Announces Daima DLC Part 2 Release Date and Characters

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has officially announced the release date for its Daima Character Pack 2 DLC, along with the new heroes and villains joining the fighting game's roster.
With three previous DLC expansions already released, this fourth DLC will conclude the list of announced characters for the game's Season Pass.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC: Shallot vs Nappa
At launch in October 2024, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero featured over 180 playable characters, many of which were alternate versions of the same character from different points in the Dragon Ball franchise's history.
This made it the largest roster in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series to date. The first three DLC packs added 20 more fighters, pushing the total roster size beyond 200.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Daima Character Pack 2 Characters

- Goku (Mini) Super Saiyan 4
- Goku (Daima) Super Saiyan 4
- Vegeta (Daima) Super Saiyan 3
- Majin Duu
- Third Eye Gomah
- Giant Gomah

As revealed in a new trailer, the DLC is set for release on September 24.
However, early access players can begin playing on September 21 at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET. The first set of Daima DLC characters introduced eight new fighters, while this second set includes six. Players will have two options for Goku in Super Saiyan 4 form: the Mini and Daima versions. Vegeta's Daima Super Saiyan 3 form will also be available.

Among the villains, both Third Eye Gomah and Giant Gomah will join the roster, bringing the now defeated Supreme Demon King into the game with multiple character options.
Additionally, fans can play as Majin Duu, a unique fusion of the kind-hearted Majin Buu from Dragon Ball Z and a Saibaman. Although Duu was an antagonist during much of Daima, his eventual alliance with Goku and his companions adds an intriguing layer to his inclusion.

Sparking Zero Full Season Pass DLC Roster
The other two original character packs featured characters from Dragon Ball Daima and the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie.
A surprise addition in June brought Shallot, the protagonist of the mobile game Dragon Ball Legends, into the roster. Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco have stated there are no plans for a second Season Pass for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, so these six new characters may be the final additions to the game.
