Early Silent Hill f Copies Are Already Out in the Wild

Silent Hill f is coming out soon, just a few days away, but some players have already found physical copies of the game.
Silent Hill f is the new main game in the Silent Hill series, and fans are excited for its release on September 25. However, if you're trying to avoid spoilers to experience the game for the first time, you should be careful about checking message boards or YouTube until the game is officially out.

Silent Hill f is set in 1960s Japan, which is different from the American settings of the original games.
The game follows Shimizu Hinako, a teenager in a fictional town called Ebisugaoka. She starts seeing her town covered in a thick fog, and as she tries to figure out what's going on, she faces puzzles and terrifying monsters. This is the first new main game in the Silent Hill series since 2012's Silent Hill Downpour.

Silent Hill f Copies Appear Before Street Date

A user named Rod on Resetera warned fans that physical copies of Silent Hill f have already been found in the wild.
If you're trying to avoid spoilers, you should be cautious about looking at message boards or YouTube until the game is officially released on September 25. The Deluxe Edition of the game will come out on September 23, but since the base game is already available, fans have three extra days to avoid spoilers.

Some fans are worried about the action-focused gameplay of Silent Hill f. Having copies in the wild might influence people who are still deciding whether to buy the game.
Even though the game still has the horror and puzzles that fans love, some previews suggest it has a more action-based combat style, almost like a Soulslike game. The developers are hoping this will attract younger players.

Konami has announced that Silent Hill f will be part of its Tokyo Game Show lineup.
There's an event called Silent Hill f: Abandoned Items Exhibition, where fans can experience the game's puzzle-solving elements. A special stage will happen in person and online on September 28, 2025, where the development team will talk to fans. There will also be live gameplay commentary during the event.
